CAMP Organization PDF Print E-mail

CAMP is organized as a non-profit corporation in Wisconsin. We have a board of directors, officers and a formal membership. CAMP's members have a role similar to that of shareholders in for-profit corporations: they vote to elect directors, and have the ultimate say in the affairs of the organization. New members are admitted by a vote of the existing membership.

We are in the process of registering to become a 501(c)3 charitable organization, which would make your contributions to CAMP tax-deductible. However, for the time being your donations (while much appreciated) are not tax-deductible.

Corporate Registration

All Wisconsin corporations file Articles of Incorporation with the Wisconsin Department of Financial Institutions. The Articles of Incorporation define the legal purpose of the organization and some of the rules under which it operates. You can view our Articles, and our DFI listing using the following links.
