Tucked way at the back of the January 26 village board meeting agenda was a mysterious item labeled "President - Special Project Assignment". You'd never know by looking at it that the "special project" was to have a village committee draft an ethics and conflict of interest policy for village officials. But indeed, that's what it was. |
